As with its predecessors, Science Expériences approaches science through the prism of entertainment, with the aim of enabling children to acquire knowledge through play, using immersive and innovative means such as virtual reality, video mapping or multi-sensory and emotional presentations. A total of 850m2 of space awaits you, inviting you to travel to the heart of the impossible!

From the farthest reaches of the universe to the abyssal depths, from the center of the earth to the human body, science is explored in its broadest sense, through disciplines such as medicine, biology, volcanology,astrophysics, marine biology and quantum physics (designed by James Mcqueen), with experiments in teleportation (by HyperHOL), levitation and lasers.

Here are the different areas:

Visitors are greeted by a hologram ofAlbert Einstein, providing an innovative introduction to the elements along the way.

• Space Room: a space odyssey

Set against a backdrop of constellations, visitors travel to the farthest reaches of the universe, through an exclusive film offered either in virtual reality or in a projection room. A new planetarium format that should fascinate parents and children alike.

• Abyss Room: deep in the oceans

Visitors are invited to discover“the fascinating world of the abyss, in the form of multi-sensory immersion“. Enveloped by sounds and images from the depths, surprising anecdotes from the abyss may well thrill them.

• Volcano Room: a journey to the center of the Earth

Using immersive video mapping techniques, the unique, interactive Volcano Room transports visitors into the bowels of the Earth, right down to its core, before bringing them back during a volcanic eruption.

• The Human Body Room: into the intimacy of the human body

For the first time, visitors can compare their height with that of Robert Wadlow, the tallest man of all time (2.72m), and discover the secrets of our bodies via a number of auditory devices. Carnovsky ‘s work also highlights the bones, muscles and nervous system of the human body.

• Nature Room: the extraordinary power of plants

In an enchanted, verdant setting, visitors can play games on a wheel of fortune and take part in a quiz to discover the extraordinary power of plants and exceptional flowers.

• Electrostatic Room: you’re in for a real treat

In a manga-inspired setting, visitors take on the 400,000 volts of a Van De Graaf generator. It’s a hair-raising experience!

• Quantum Room: in the skin of a particle

In the fascinating world of quantum physics, visitors discover the secrets of lasers, quantum levitation and teleportation (quantum entanglement), with a free energy shot on their way out.
